Lana Joy Whitt

Lana Joy Whitt (Woltz), 77, of Columbus, Ohio, went to be with the Lord on 20 May 2023.  Loved by many, she will be sadly missed.  Lana was born in Hamden, Ohio, had a heart of gold, and spent her entire life being good to family and friends.  

Lana is survived by her son Captain Michael A. Whitt (USN, Ret.) (Noppamas), and her daughter Cynthia A. Dilworth (Forrest Lohner).  She also leaves behind her sister, Barbara J. Ross, her son-in-law Brian Boltzer, many grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and many beloved lifetime friends.

She is preceded in passing by her beloved husband, Clyde Whitt; her daughter, Vicki L. Whitt; her father, Noel H. Woltz; her mother, Waneta Gingerall (Napper); her brother, Stephen K. Woltz; her step-sister, Julie Anne Gingerall Israel; and her granddaughter, Sierra M. Meadows.

All friends and family are invited to a service at the Shaw-Davis Funeral Home, 34 West 2nd Ave, Columbus, Ohio, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Thursday, 25 May 2023.  Internment will be held at 2 p.m. in the Elk Cemetery, McArthur, Ohio.
