Kristian Halley

October 25, 1973 — December 15, 2016

Kristian Michael Halley, a lifelong resident of Delaware, Ohio, died unexpectedly on December 15, 2016. Kristian was born in October 1973 and was a 1992 graduate of Delaware Hayes High School. He is preceded in death by his parents Michael and Donna Halley, his grandparents George Norman Conner, Lena Conner Osborne, Richard Halley, and Joan (Fassig) Halley. He is survived by his sister Brooke (Greg) Cain, two nephews, a niece and many aunts, uncles, cousins and many beloved friends. Kristian spent his early years in southern Delaware County where he attended Olentangy Schools. He later moved to northern Delaware County and attended St Mary School and eventually Watterson and Hayes High Schools. He was an active athlete participating in years of football, basketball, baseball, snow skiing, BMX racing, and of course motocross racing. He was an outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting, fishing, and campfires. He loved to rendezvous with his black powder group, FMLR,and loved to sing and dance to his dads music and old country songs. He worked as a tradesman most of his life doing carpentry, masonry, and roofing. Kristian loved adventure and although mischievous, wore his heart on his sleeve. He was an avid Ohio State and Pittsburgh Steelers fan. He was a member of the Delaware Eagles and Moose Lodge. A prayer service for Kristian (and his recently deceased mother Donna) will be held January 21, 2017 at 2pm at St Mary Church of Delaware then will be immediately followed by a joint burial service at Marlborough Cemetery and then a Celebration of Life for Kristian at the Delaware, Ohio Eagles #376.
