Knehemiah Bell

Knehemiah Alexander Bell, sunrise 3:15 a.m. July 12, 1979 – sunset 12:37 p.m. January 8, 2019.  He was a devoted father, loving son and brother, a jokester amongst his friends, a Brookhaven Bearcat, and an avid Dallas Cowboys fan.  He was employed by Columbus Steel Castings and Anderson Aluminum Corp. He is preceded in death by grandfather, Toussaint L. Jones, Jr.; grandmother, Mary K. Bell; uncles: Richard Bethel, Steven Jones, and Toussaint L. Jones III; and aunt, Beverly Bethel. He is survived by his son and best friend, Knehemiah Jr.; stepdaughter, Shania Valentine; parents, William and Bridgett; sister, Bianca; grandmother, Mary L. Jones; godmother, Christine (Morris) Walker; godbrothers Martez and Meeco Walker; mother of children, Maria Allen; aunts: Evon White, Valerie Stephens, and Shonda Garland (Jr.’s godmother); uncles: Gregory Bell, Dwight Jones, Sr., Joseph White, and Anthony Stephens, Sr.; special cousins: Lavette, E. Lewis (Vicki), and Beva Washington, Kevin Sr. (Carletta), and Brandy White, Bobby Walker, Jr.,  Rita Walker, Conchata, Charisma, Anthony Jr. (AJ), and Ahmad Stephens, Reshon (Melissa) Gordon,  Mariah Baker, Candace, Courtney, and Cierra Perry, Amber Lee; friends: Bobby Witcher (Jr.’s godfather), Kennon Packer, Kevin Dobson, Jason Carter, Charles Dailey, Urais Fisher, and Marvin Crumbie; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Please join the family to celebrate Knehemiah's life on Saturday, January 19, 2019 from 1 - 3 p.m. at The Filipinas Centre 3439 Westerville Rd., Columbus, OH 43224. Casual attire is requested.  In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting that donations be made in Knehemiah’s name to the American Red Cross at www.redcross.org/donate.
