In Loving Memory of Kevin Adams
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Kevin Adams, a cherished father, dedicated coach, and friend to all, who peacefully departed this world surrounded by family and friends at the age of 59 on 03/03/2024 in Columbus, Ohio. Born in the heart of West Virginia, Kevin's spirit was deeply rooted in the love of the outdoors, a passion for sports, and coaching his sons that touched the lives of everyone he encountered.
While Kevin began his journey in West Virginia, he later made his home in Columbus, Ohio, where he continued to foster his love for sports, coaching his sons, and outdoor activities. Kevin's presence was a beacon of joy, and his commitment to family and community was evident in every aspect of his life.
One of Kevin's greatest joys was coaching baseball, football, and basketball for his two beloved sons, Jason Adams and Jason Ruby. He poured his heart and soul into shaping not only skilled athletes but also young men of character, instilling in them the values of teamwork, dedication, sportsmanship, and entrepreneurship. The bond forged on the fields and courts between Kevin and his sons was unbreakable, a testament to the enduring impact he had on their lives.
A loving father and a friend to all, Kevin's warm and welcoming nature endeared him to everyone he met. His infectious laughter, compassionate spirit, and genuine kindness created a community around him wherever he went. Kevin's legacy extends beyond the sports fields he coached on; it lives on in the hearts of the countless individuals he influenced throughout his life.
Kevin Adams is survived by his two sons, Jason Adams (Amy) and Jason Ruby (Tricia) and his grandson Braydan, who will carry forward his legacy of love, strength, and camaraderie. A memorial service will be held in West Virginia later this month to celebrate Kevin's life and the indelible mark he left on the lives of those who were fortunate enough to know him.
May Kevin Adams rest in eternal peace, surrounded by the echoes of laughter from the games he loved, the beauty of the outdoors he cherished, and the enduring love of his family and friends.
