Kenneth Valentine

VALENTINE

Kenneth William Valentine, age 76, passed away on September 11, 2015 at Sunrise of Worthington, Ohio.  Ken was born on July 14, 1939 at Dover, Ohio, the 6th son of Donald William and Edna Steiner Valentine.  He grew up in Alliance, Ohio and graduated from Alliance High School in 1957.  In 1961, he graduated from Mount Union College and later received a Masters Degree from The Ohio State University in 1969.  On February 12, 1966, Ken married Patricia Ann Kark in Canton, Ohio.  She preceded him in death on June 24, 2015.  He retired from the Worthington School District in 2007 after 40 years of professional service to the district.  Ken is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Delilah and Greg Grimmett, of San Diego, California.  He is also survived by two brothers, Regis (Mary) Valentine of Old Greenwich, Connecticut and Dean (Diane) Valentine of Nevada, Missouri.  In addition to his wife, he was preceded in death by his parents and three brothers, Donald Valentine, Jerry Valentine, and Gene Valentine.  A Memorial and Committal Service will be held on Saturday, October 24, 2015 at 11 AM in the Chapel at Resurrection Cemetery, 9571 North High Street, Lewis Center, Ohio 43035.  Memorial Contributions may be made to: The OSU Foundation, Alzheimer's Research Fund – Account #302185, P.O.
