Kenneth Arthur Seifert

Kenneth (Ken) Arthur Seifert, our beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather peacefully Entered the Gates of Heaven. Ken was born in Baltimore, Maryland and spent most of his adult life in Grove City, Ohio. Ken was preceded in death by his parents Augustus and Grace Benway Seifert and brother Frank Seifert. He is survived by wife Susan Payne Seifert; children—Aaron (Keri) Seifert, Ryan (Marianne) Seifert, Gaige Seifert, Ashley (Erik) Seifert Hedrick, Abigail Seifert, Robb (Brenda) Erwin, Ryan (Brandi) Erwin. Sister Fay (Rick) Parks. Grandchildren—Michael (Ever); Tyler Kaiden (Kierstyn); Danica (Wyatt); Elijah, Benny, Braden, McKenna. Great grandchildren—Azaylea, Rowen, Keaton, Emma Kate. Bonus kids—Courtney, Amie & David. 

Ken was employed in the Insurance Industry at North American Equitable, Gates McDonald and Nationwide Insurance. He worked in sales, accounting, actuary and treasurer positions. Ken’s faith in Christ was central to him becoming a foster parent for over 25 years with Franklin County Children’s Services and The Buckeye Ranch. Fifty plus children benefitted from the role model Ken set with his hard working, caring kindness, Ken also held a second career in retirement-- J.O.A.T. position at Grove City Christian Child Care where he tended to and repaired all things broken—toys, driveway, and playground equipment. Ken was a math whiz and loved planning trips and vacations almost as much as taking them.

Final arrangements will be handled by Shaw-Davis Funeral Homes with a Celebration of Life on Saturday, March 29th Visitation-10 A.M. Service 11 at Leave A Mark Church, 4818 Parsons Ave Columbus, Oh. 43207
