Kenneth Albert Poss

Kenneth Poss, age 84, passed away May 25, 2023 at Doctors Hospital in Columbus, Ohio.  Born in Buffalo, New York, he was the son of Edward and Florence Poss.

Ken served in the United States Army and graduated from Canisius College with a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry.  He was a gifted carpenter, all around handyman, and epoxy and resin expert.  He loved traveling, the outdoors and vacationing, camping and canoeing with his family.  After retiring from Ashland Chemical, Ken bought several sailboats and became an avid sailor.  He enjoyed sailing with friends and family on Lake Erie.  He also helped friends and family with many home repair and improvement projects.  He was a devoted father and grandfather. 

Ken is survived by his wife Nancy, children: Kathy, Mike (Beth), Doug (Margot), and Keith (Amber), and 9 grandchildren. 

Ken was preceded in death by his parents and daughter Margaret Poss.

Interment will be in Cheektowaga, New York at the United German and French Cemetery.
