WENKLE
Kelley Sue (Conniff) Wenkle, passed away peacefully on February 6, 2017. Kelley was a devoted daughter and a caring sister to Trey (Linda) Conniff, Judge (Janet) Conniff and Melissa (Bruce) Houchard. She was a proud mother to her three sons Andrew (Hillary) Rayo, Paul Rayo and Nathan Bemus and she was a doting grandmother to Alexandria, Madeline and Andrew Jr. She was also an amazing friend. Kelley had a set of unique talents. She was a bit of an Audubon expert, often pulling binoculars out of her purse to educate those around her of what birds were in the area. She was also a bit of a gem expert, using her loupe to evaluate jewelry for strangers. It was not unusual for Kelley to pull a set of spoons out and start playing them when a good song came on. Kelley's purse was pretty big to carry all these things, but it wasn't as big as her soul. Her character was unmatched, her beliefs were strong and the love for her friends and family was unconditional. Her smile, her jokes and her laughter were adored by so many and will be missed immensely. Kelley didn't want people to cry about this - she wanted people to remember all the good things she had done, the good times that she had and the good person that she was. And that's what we're going to do. Per her request, Kelley's celebration of life will be held Saturday, April 22, 2017. Details to follow.
