Keith A. Lloyd, born on December 10, 1954, passed away on September 21, 2024, at the OSU Wexner Medical Center. He lived a life marked by dedication, creativity, and an unwavering spirit that left a lasting impression on all who knew him.
In the years, Keith worked at a magic shop where he channeled his creativity into crafting magic trick props. This unique profession mirrored his passion for wonder and excitement, qualities that he carried into his later career as a chimney sweep, a vocation he pursued for decades before retirement.
Outside of his professional endeavors, Keith was a man of many interests. He took great joy in cheering on his favorite sports teams, notably the OSU Buckeyes and the Cleveland Browns, while engaging in friendly banter with his father about the Cincinnati Bengals. He could often be found coaching from the comfort of his living room, exclaiming “Blitz em!” during the OSU Buckeyes games. His love for the outdoors was evident in his fondness for fishing and savoring captivating sunrises at Myrtle Beach and Buckeye Lake, which brought him immense peace and tranquility.
He is survived by his loving spouse, Jody Lloyd; his devoted daughter, Jessica Lloyd; his brother, Kenneth Lloyd, and Kenneth's wife, Joy Lloyd; his sister, Marilyn Glass, and Marilyn's husband, James Glass; his Uncle Wayne Lloyd as well as many nieces, nephews, friends, and the cherished presence of his grandcat, Emmett Dean who he loved to banter with.
Keith was predeceased by his parents, Kenneth and Miriam Lloyd; his brother, Roger Lloyd; and grandcats Dazie Sue and Oscar Allen. The legacy he leaves behind is one of love, kindness, and an enduring spirit that lives on in the hearts of all those who were fortunate to know him.
