Kathy June Bahorek DeRing, born May 19, 1949, died Monday, May 22, 2023. Preceded in death by her dad, Stanley "Boompa" Bahorek, Jr., and dear friends Sharon and Cathy Sue. She is survived by her mom, Nancy Bahorek, husband of nearly 47 years, John DeRing, brother Stanley (Jan) Bahorek, daughter Dana (Jon) Bagwell, son Johnny (Rachael) DeRing, grandsons Stanley Bagwell and Jack DeRing, nephews Stanley Bahorek (Ethan Heard) and Matthew (Kelli) Bahorek, and great nieces Claire and Eloise. Also surviving are her fiercely loyal friends: Rick, Janet, and Liz Jones, the Tavenner girls, Carol, Tammy, Judy, and countless others who have provided an immeasurable amount of love and support to her family. In lieu of flowers, please honor Kathy with a donation to the animal rescue group of your choosing.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 31, from 10am-Noon, at Shaw-Davis Clintonville. Service will be held at Noon, followed by a graveside service at Union Cemetery and a luncheon at the Clintonville Woman's Club.
