Kathryn Ann Harris

Kathryn Ann Harris (Smith), 76, passed away peacefully on Monday, December 16, 2024 surrounded by her family. She was born on January 1st 1948 in Columbus, Ohio daughter to the late Arthur and Helen (Pinnick) Smith. 

Kathryn was a compassionate, loving mother and friend. She enjoyed spending time with her family, friends and loved animals.

Kathryn is survived by her children, Gina(Mike) Denny and Scott (Charme) Harris; grandchildren, Shane(Mallory), Adam, Malcolm, Scott Jr, Kaysie(Lindsey), Alex(Ashley), Karlee(Logan), Zachary; great-grandchildren Sofia, Luka, Ryan, Brylie, Callie, Demi, Alexa, Raylinn and Maddox; brothers, David(Pat), Steve(Pam) and Ric(Denise) and many nieces and nephews as well as her best friend Ruth Swinehart. 

 In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Columbus Humane Society or St. Jude Children’s Hospital. 

 A celebration of life will be held at a later date.

 Our Family would like to give a special thank you to all the nurses, aides and entire staff at Meadow Grove skilled nursing facility that have assisted in her care and have been part of our mother’s life over the years. We would also like to give a special thank to Almon and Jane Ellen with Bella Care Hospice.
