Obituary for Karren Lascola (Shook)

Karren Lee Lascola was born May 6, 1953, in Columbus, OH to Arthur Prince Shook and late Betty Ann Travis (Hampton). She departed this life on April 19, 2021, at the age of 68. Karren attended Champion Middle School, East High School, Columbus State University, and became an employee for Ross Laboratory.

Karren Shook married and divorced Joey Lascola who continued to be a long-time beloved friend and supporter. Karren was a beautiful and bright lady who loved to shop, lived her life to the fullest, treasured dinners with family and friends, and valued her lovely grandchildren; Darrell P. Turner and Amarra M. Hammock.

She is proceeded in death by her mother Betty (Willie) Hampton and her nephew Christopher Shook. Karren’s memories remain cherished by her father Arthur (Patricia) Shook, daughters Nikki Shook and Raven (Charzale) King, sister Kathy Shook, Aleta (Homer) Lane, Connie Woodruff, brothers Keith Shook and Michael Travis, special nephews Dusty and Von Der Ahe (Darfrazzier) Shook, extended nephews and nieces, and a host of extended cousins, and relatives.

A gathering of family and close friends will be held from 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm, Thursday, May 6, 2021, at the Shaw-Davis Funeral Homes, (Short North Chapel) 34 West 2nd Avenue, Columbus, Ohio 43201. Where her memorial service will follow at 2:00 pm.
