Karan Sue Hoover

Karan "Sue" Hoover was born on February 21st 1958 in Columbus, OH to her late parents Herman and Fumiko (Katakado) Hoover. She passed away on the night of February 24th 2023 comfortably and surrounded by a loving family.

She is survived by her long time friend Barbara Manbevers, children Crystal (John) Brayshaw, Michelle Clark, Shauna (Brandon) Eitel, William Burton, and Joseph (Taylor) Burton. Her grandchildren James Brayshaw, Austin and Abigail Eitel, Timothy Williamson and Jaylee Bagent.

She is preceded in death by sister Kay Syfert and grandson JaQuan Williamson.

A Columbus native, attending West High School where she played the saxophone in the school band along with other activities. She enjoyed watching hummingbirds on the front porch and the company of family and friends who she would occasionally get together with to play bingo. She was a kind and caring person with a big heart. Her smile and laugh was sure to light up a room and the endless amount of love and compassion she had will live on in our hearts forever.
