Julia Parker passed away quietly March 19, 2016.  Preceded in death by her parents John and Diana Parker. Julie was a 1971 graduate of Watterson High School and spent most of her career in the administration offices of various higher education facilities. Those who knew her, knew of her love of music and dancing. Julie is survived by her children Christina Kempf Dorfman (Justin) of Westerville, Ohio and John Kempf of Columbus, Ohio. Grandchildren, Ty Dorfman, Samantha Kempf, Jacob Kempf and Anna Kempf and siblings John W. Parker, North Olmstead Ohio, Ellen Parker, La Grange NC and Kathleen Easter (Steve), Heath Ohio.  Also survived by several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. Family will receive friends Monday March 28, 2016 from 6-7 pm where memorial service will follow at 7 pm at SHAW DAVIS FUNERAL HOMES 4341 N High St. Cols 43214. The family would like to extend a special thanks to Highbanks Care Center and Tridia Hospice for their continued treatment of care, dignity and respect. In lieu of flowers the family wishes that donations are made to the Spastic Paraplegia Foundation or to the Hospice Care of Columbus Ohio.
