Judy Gail Salyer-Norman

Judy Gail Salyer-Norman, 72, of Columbus, went home to the Lord, Monday, June 10, 2024. She is preceded in death by her parents, Akle and Virgina Salyer, brothers, Billy and Bobby Salyer and son-in-law, Patrick Jones. She is survived by her husband, John Norman, children Mica Jones, David (Christina) Hutton and stepdaughter, Kim Ortman as well as her sister, Melody (Sue) Gintert and grandchildren, Brittany, Joshua Ray, Brook, Sabrina (Malik), Jonathan (Savannah) and Joshua Michael. Step-grandchildren, Lacey, Michael and Lindsay. Great-grandchildren, Joshua Ray, Athena, Jackson, Jonathan, Madelyn, Paisleigh, David and Kaiden and many nieces and nephews.

Judy was born in Salyersville, KY where she still has family and friends. She was a lifelong Baptist and her faith was always at the forefront of her life. She enjoyed crafting and her family was her joy. Judy had a generous spirit and tried to always be there for those in need. Her door was always open, and it was rare that someone unexpected didn’t stop by. She opened her home and helped multiple people. She was the kind of person who was a friend for life. 

Visitation will be held at Shaw-Davis Funeral Home located at 4341 N. High St., Columbus, OH on Thursday, June 13, 2024 from 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm and Friday June 14, 2024 from 10:00 am – 10:30 am with a service beginning at 10:30 am and followed by a procession for interment at Fernwood Cemetery in Lockbourne, OH.
