Judy Alexander

Judy Ann Alexander, age 66, of Columbus, Ohio went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, February 1, 2022.  Born March 23, 1955, in Columbus, Ohio, Judy was the oldest of six children to Walter and Annie Carreker. Judy is survived by her sons, Rico, Antoine, Alphonso (Penny), daughter Yolanda, husband of 21 years, Michael Alexander, brothers Alphonso (Kimberly), Virgil, Vincent (Susie), Charlie Walter (Vivian), Johnnie (Willie Belle), Rickey, Bruce, sisters Tina, Tammy (Franklin), Wonelle, many nieces, nephews’ grandchildren, great grandchildren, and friends.

Judy was a graduate of Marion Franklin High School. She attended college and was an honor student. Judy took pride in raising her grandson, DaQuante Harris. She enjoyed singing, going to church, and spending time with her family and friends.

Judy was a joy to be around and could brighten up any room she entered and for that she will be sadly missed…and never forgotten!

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 19, 2022, at noon, located at First Mt. Carmel Missionary Baptist Church, 470 E. Welch Avenue, Columbus, Ohio, 43207.
