Judith A. Carpenter, age 77, died Feb 2, 2017. Born Dec 10, 1939 in St. Clairsville, OH to parents Everett and Avis (Haught) Lamp. Preceded in death by brothers Denver, Duane, Jack, Roger and Baby William Lamp; sisters Dorothy Byers, Helen Rogers and Loure Barnes. Survived by husband Robert Carpenter; children Jeff (Beth) Rowles, John Rowles and Melissa Vance; grandchildren Jessica Allsup and Jacob; 3 great-grandchildren; brothers Dan, Larry and Bob Lamp; several nieces and nephews. Judy was a nurse at Riverside Hospital for 23 years. After her retirement she continued working and helping people in the community until she fell ill. Visitation Tuesday, Feb 7, 2017 at the SHAW-DAVIS FUNERAL HOME, Victorian Village Chapel, 34 W 2nd Ave from 7-9 pm. Her funeral service will be held at the SOUTHWESTERN CHURCH OF CHRIST, 3767 Grove City Rd, Grove City, OH 43123. Weds, Feb 8, 2017 at 2:00 pm with visitation 1 hour prior. Minister Matt Neely officiating.
