Joseph M Lascola

Joseph Michael Lascola was born November 19, 1946 in Columbus, OH to late Joseph F. Lascola and Patricia Metzor. He departed this life on April 9, 2025 at the age of 79. Joseph graduated from Brookhaven High School and became a truck driver operator.

Joseph (Joey) Lascola married and divorced Karren Shook who continued to be a long-time beloved friend and supporter. Joey lived for baseball and his favorite team was the Atlanta Braves. As a huge fan of the Atlanta Braves, Joey made a point to attend numerous games and when he did not attend the baseball games he watched them faithfully on TV with no interruptions. Joey also had a passion for bowling; which he devoted his time to on Wednesday evening and shared a great joy in golf with his long time faithful and beloved friend Wayne Klepas.

Joseph Michael Lascola is proceeded in death by his father Joseph F. Lascola, his mother Patricia Metzor, and his ex-wife Karren Lascola. Josey’s memories remain cherished by his daughter Jackie Gill, his grandson Matthew Lascola, his best friend Wayne Klepas, his step-daughter Deshanne Grace (Alphonso) and Raven (Charzale) King, sister-in-law Kathy Shook, brother-in-laws Keith Shook and Michael Travis, special cousin-in-law Susan Spann, grandchildren Darrell Turner and Amarra Hammock, extended nephews and nieces, and a host of extended relatives.
