Joseph Lanoze Fontaine

Mr. Joseph Lanoze Fontaine, age 82, suddenly passed away in Columbus, Ohio April 16, 2023. He was born from Dieudonne Fontaine & Claricile Zelnor and went to school in Chantal, Haiti. There he married Louisia Pierre and worked as a businessman up to 1982 when he immigrated in Brooklyn, New York. He was hard working, loyal, kind, respectful, social, very generous, and loved to joke.

He loves his family and will do his best to help anyone in need. After retirement, he moved to Ohio to be closer to his family. Joseph Lanoze Is survived by his beloved wife: Louisia Pierre Fontaine; his siblings: Homere (Guerda) Fontaine, Julianie Fontaine/Joseph, Lina (Melissone) Fontaine Saint Paul; 2 brothers -in -law: Mark (Evana) Pierre & Leogene (Bernadette) Pierre and one sister -in -law: Natalie Lisius/Fontaine;

His children: Marie Monise (Arsene) ( Similien ); Jean Fresnel, Joseph Berlin, Marie Kettely, Pierre Louis, Sergo & Kerline Fontaine; Joseph Maxon & Rachelle Plaisimond; Myrlande, Lunotte & Wiltone Symera.

His grand-children: Axan Wesley & Anselle Similien; Glaeden Lormil; Ornica, Rose-Dearleen, Rose Manaica, Marie Sylvie & Joseph Sylvain Fontaine; Merline Sanon; Bradley & Anny Plaisimond; Chris-Stepher & Anne-Stephie Charles; Ludnie, Phaelle & Ismael Policar; Woudson & Gamaleel Sylmera; many cousins, godchildren, nieces and nephews, grand- nephews/nieces, his Church family, his close friends, and many others.

May his soul rest in peace, he will truly be missed.
