Johnnie Ray Starkey Sr.

Johnnie (Old Man) Ray Starkey Sr. AKA Bouncer, Age 66 of Nashport Ohio passed away March 16 , 2025 at home surrounded by his loved ones. He was born on December 3, 1958, in Newark Ohio to the late Mabel (Grover) Malloy and Donald Starkey.

John enjoyed Camping and Fishing and in his younger days enjoyed riding his Harley's with different local clubs including the IBA. He loved to buy and collect Guns never leaving home without his favorite on his side. He loved watching his kids and grandbabies on the ball field, even coached a few over the years. He was an amazing artist and loved to draw.

John is survived by his sons Christopher Sherman, Step-sons Jamie Anderson, Tim Anderson. A Daughter In-law Cyndi Starkey and Many Grandbabies. A Special life-long friend Kim Legge. Special neices Crystal ( Donnie) Moore, Jessica (Lisa ) Starkey and Belinda (Joe) Green. Sister Becky Lake, Brothers Fred Starkey and Jimmy (Connie) VanAllen. Sister In-Law Pati Starkey. Many Neice's and Nephews.

He is preceded in death by his Parents. A son Johnnie (Jay) Ray Starkey Jr. Two Ex-wife's Debi Sherman and Karen Anderson. Brothers Paul Starkey, Jeff Starkey, Danny VanAllen and Bill VanAllen. Sisters Nancy (Starkey) McElfresh and Virginia Montgomery. Sister In-laws Dee Starkey and Gwen Starkey. Brother In-laws Cliff Montgomery, Charlie Montgomery, and Dave McElfresh Sr.

At his request there will be no funeral services. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.

In lieu of Flowers, any contributions can be made to the family to help with his final expense's.
