John Brandstetter

John Brandstetter passed away March 13 2024 at OSU hospital in Columbus Ohio. He was born December 4th 1968 to Mary Kathrine Edwards and Charles White Brandstetter in Washington DC. He grew up in Maryland with his family which included his parents as well as his brother Jimmy and sister Kristy. He moved to Ohio in the early 2000s for a while, then permanently with his youngest Daughter Brittany Brandstetter, grandson Lyric Rowe, granddaughter Kinsley Rowe and son in law Nicholas Rowe all of Chatfield Ohio in 2014. His eldest daughter Krystal Brandstetter resides in Maryland with her son's Christian Volland, Samuel Jaques and daughter Isabella Jaques. His ex wife and best friend Heidi Brandstetter joined him in Ohio in 2016 to aide in his healthcare. He was an amazing grandfather and father. He loved to be sarcastic, loved talking with everyone, could get along with anyone and loved joking with the nursing staff and other patients at Fresenius Kidney Care Crawford County. He loved his family more than anything especially his grandson and best friend Lyric Rowe. Lyric had ASD but they had such a strong bond that John knew how to get to him when no one else could. He will be remembered as a great father who owned up to mistakes, you could talk to about anything without judgment and lived his life for his family. He was a great brother who did anything for his siblings and was always a phone call away. He will be incredibly missed and forever loved.
