Joan Evon Mercier, age 79, went home to be with her Lord, July 11, 2018. Born November 10, 1938 in Columbus, OH to parents Murry and Evon Mercier, Jr., Survived by brother Murry (Jacqueline) Mercier, III; nephew Murry (Maureen) Mercier; niece Jeanette (Keith) Hart; great nephews and nieces; special friend Sue Shipp. Graduated from Grandview High School in 1956, Bachelor of Science OSU 1960, Retired Medical Tech from OSU Hospital. Charter member of Clintonville/Linworth Baptist Church. A visitation will be held Weds, July 18, 2018 from 9:30 to 11:00 a.m. at the Linworth Baptist Church, 6200 Linworth Rd, Worthington, OH 43085, where her service will follow at 11:00 a.m. Pastors Brent Miller and George Hattenfield, presiding. Interment at Green Lawn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Linworth Baptist Church.
