Jimmie Ray Hatfield

Jimmie Ray Hatfield, age 77, of Columbus, Ohio, passed away on Tuesday, November 19, 2024. He was born in Huntington, West Virginia, on July 4, 1946.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Emmalene Finley, his father Archie Hatfield, and his son, James Ray (Reo) Hatfield.

He is survived by his children: Rhonda Shepherd, Jimmie Ray Hatfield, and Rebecca (Calvin) Laywell of Springfield, Ohio, and Emily (Kenny) Bennett of Fairborn, Ohio; his sister, Rebecca (Larry) King of Milton, West Virginia; his nephew, Johnathan King; and several grandchildren and great grandchildren. He is also survived by his girlfriend of many years, Donna McDavid of Columbus, Ohio. The Shaw Davis Funeral Home in Columbus, Ohio, is assisting the family during this time.
