Jerzy Grelik

Jerzy Grelik age 75 of Westerville, OH passed away January 8, 2024, after fighting a long battle with cancer. He was born April 1, 1948 in Kosow-Ruski, Poland to the late Edward and Helena Grelik.

 

Jerzy grew up on the family farm with his two sisters Halina and Teresa and two brothers Henry and Marek. He served in the Polish Armed Forces before becoming a public transportation driver for many years. After moving to the U.S. in 1989 he was an essential part of helping his sister Halina and her children Viola and Voytek while working at a printing company until he retired in 2010. He was proud to become an American citizen in 1995.  

 

Jerzy brought a strong disposition with equal opinions but always with a big heart. His personality is truly one of the best and will never be forgotten.

 

He is survived by his loving siblings, nieces, nephews, and numerous close friends.

 

Services will be held at St. Joseph Catholic Cathedral (212 E. Broad St. Columbus, OH) on January 16, 2024, at 10am. Following the ceremony, he will be laid to rest at the Resurrection Cemetary (9571 N. High St. Lewis Center, OH).
