Jeffrey Shipley

Jeffrey James Shipley of Dublin, age 55 passed away at the Kobacker House on May 6, 2021.   He was born in Columbus on August 28,1965.  He was a great husband, father, son, brother and friend. Jeff with the biggest heart of all, was a quiet and calm man with a great dry sense of humor. He was extremely loyal to his friends and family and non-judgmental towards his friends and others. Jeff loved his supportive wife Alicia along with being a patient and good father to his boys and rarely raised his voice in anger towards them or anyone else. Besides his family Jeff had few passions, he loved the Buckeyes, playing golf with his sons and father and once again he loved his Buckeyes. He liked a good cocktail and a good steak and enjoyed life to the fullest. Jeff was a hard worker that was employed by the State of Ohio where he met Alicia in 1989; he was also employed at Honda for 24 years and was a dedicated worker before his tragic illness that he battled so courageously.  He will be sadly missed by his family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents Jim and Elda.  Survived by his wife Alicia of 27 years, sons Justin and Drew as well as his sister Suzanne Holcomb (Douglas) and nieces Erin and Danielle. In lieu of flowers donations would be appreciated for Kobacker House.  The family would like to remind you to get your colorectal screening.  Please remember to wear your Buckeye attire on the day of Jeff’s memorial.
