Jeffrey M. Perdue, 61, of Columbus, Ohio, passed away on March 7, 2025. A proud Marine Corps veteran, Jeffrey served honorably as an 0311 Infantry Rifleman and carried the values of the United States Marine Corps with him throughout his life. After his military service, Jeffrey remained active in his community as a dedicated baseball and football coach, guiding and mentoring countless young athletes over the years.
Jeffrey was preceded in death by his beloved mother, Ruby Webb Perdue, and his sister, Charlene "Shon" Jackson.
He is survived by his loving son, Brandon M. Perdue, his daughter-in-law, Sherri L. Perdue, and his cherished granddaughter, Zoe L. Perdue. He is also survived by his father, Larry F. Perdue Sr., his sister Georgia Lynn "Perdue" (Rob) Cassady, and his brother Larry "Turk" Perdue. Although divorced, Jeffrey shared a lasting bond and mutual admiration with his ex-wife, Kimberly Weber.
Jeffrey will also be fondly remembered by his nieces and nephews: Leif (Traci) Acord, Chance (Sidney) Cassady, Cassady Perdue, Layla Perdue, Josh Carr, Jeffrey "Jeffey" Jackson, and Brooke (Brad) Blair.
Jeffrey will be remembered for always offering a lending hand, sharing wisdom and advice, and for his steadfast yet kind nature. His presence left a lasting impression on everyone who knew him.
A service to honor Jeffrey’s life and military service will be held on Saturday, March 22nd, 2025, at The Grove Church, 4371 Grove City Rd, Grove City, OH 43123, with arrival beginning at 1:30 PM and the service starting at 2:00 PM, followed by a reception.
To honor Jeffrey’s memory, the family encourages acts of kindness and lending a helping hand to others, reflecting the values he lived by every day.
