Janice Hoisington, age 78, Dec 3, 2016 in Newark. Preceded in death by son Kevin Hoisington. Survived by children Kerry Hoisington, Kelly (Jerry) Applegate and Karla Lewis; grandchildren Jeremy, Kevin (Brittany) Applegate and Marisa Lewis. She was an active member of McKendree UMC in Columbus. Janice was known for her hard work ethic. In lieu of flowers please send donations to American Cancer Society of Central Ohio. “Loving Memories - Your gentle face and patient smile with sadness we recall. You had a kindly word for each and died beloved by all. The voice is mute and stilled the heart, that loved us well and true, ah, bitter was the trial to part from one so good as you. You are not forgotten loved one nor will you ever be, as long as life and memory last we will remember thee. We miss you now, our hearts are sore, as time goes by we miss you more. Your loving smile, your gentle face, No one can fill your vacant place.” A memorial service will be held at the SHAW-DAVIS FUNERAL HOMES, Victorian Village Chapel, 34 W 2nd Ave, Columbus, OH 43201.
