James Torrey

James Elbert Torrey (Jim) left this earth peacefully on December 27, 2016 at age 76 with his family and loved ones at his side. Jim was one of God's Special Angels who touched every life he came in contact with and was loved by all who knew him. He is preceded in death by mother Dorothy Renner, father Mark Torrey, stepfather George Renner, sister Gloria Jean Torrey, and brother-in-law George Huddy. He leaves behind to celebrate his life his sister Gail Huddy, niece Kelli (Andy) Willie, and nephews Dan and Mike Huddy and Stacy Torrey, great nieces and nephews Candice (Dale) White, Sarah and Alex Willie, and Aason and Bailey White. He also leaves behind his most beloved family at Kimberly Woods Residential, Jamie Fox, Sasha Hughes, Tammika Ransom, Sherry Luster, Richard Thrweatt, Gloria Dokie, Tyrone Kobe, Jackie Vivian, Samantha Shanks, and all the other people there who served as his family and loved ones throughout most of his adult life. They cannot be thanked enough. A graveside memorial service will be held at 2:00pm on January 6, 2017 at Union Cemetery.
