James O’Brian Todd, AKA Moose, 64 years of age, passed away on Saturday, November 23, 2019.
James was born on September 7, 1955 in Columbus, Ohio to George and Mildred Todd. He was the middle child of three. His nickname growing up was Moose; which came from his favorite book as a child ‘Antlers in the Tree Tops’ By Who Goosed the Moose. He was educated in the Columbus Public School System (Michigan Ave Elementary, Everett Middle School, and Graduated from Central High School in 1973). He was a Social Member of VFW - Post 4044.
James worked and retired from Armstrong Magic Chef Furnace. He ran his own maintenance business where he worked in the community named “Todd’s Maintenance”.
James enjoyed helping others. He loved fishing and hunting with his friends. Most importantly he cared for, befriended, and loved his dog!
James is preceded in death by his father George Todd; sisters Vanessa Todd and Nava Jo Couch. Survived by mother Mildred Todd; nieces Danielle Todd and Tai Couch; Nephews Jimmy Todd and Zach Couch; K9 Companion Bolder Todd; Best-Friends Steve Waldrop and Henry Nutt, and lots of loving aunts, uncles and cousins.
Cremation will be held by SHAW-DAVIS FUNERAL HOMES, Short North Chapel, 34 W 2nd Ave, Columbus, OH 43201. Online condolences through shaw-davis.com.
