James Mercier

MERCIER

James Gilbert Mercier, 72, of Holyoke, MA passed into eternal life, with family by his side, on Sunday Nov. 8, 2015.  He lived in Holyoke, Easthampton, and West Springfield MA, and Columbus OH since 1994. He is survived by his five children: Elizabeth A. Bell (David), Edward J. (Nora), Robert D., Amanda M. Silveira (Robert), and Timothy M. (Misty), seven grandchildren: Jennifer, Nicole, Hannah, Abigail, Jake, Cole, and Madelyn, and a sister, Donna McDermott Trice.  As an adopted child with loving and devoted parents, he was an advocate for adoption services.  He was full of life and loved his family, friends, and church.  A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, November 15, 2015 at 1:30 P.M. at the Vineyard Church at Tuttle Crossing, 5400 Avery Road, Dublin OH 43016.  A reception will follow.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Vineyard Church at Tuttle Crossing or an adoption agency of your choice.
