HATFIELD
JAMES RAY HATFIELD, known to his friends as Reo, died at home on August 31, 2016. He was born March 1, 1982, in Columbus, Ohio. He will be dearly missed by his father, Jimmie Ray Hatfield of Columbus; mother, Betty J. White of Tipp City, Ohio; sister, Emily J. Hatfield, of Huber Heights, Ohio; half-sister, Rebecca (Calvin) Laywell and half-brother, Jimmie Ray Hatfield Jr., both of Springfield, Ohio; his aunt, Nancy (Brian) Lauchard, and uncle Douglas Ray (Kathy) Cosby, both of Springfield, Ohio; his aunt, Becky (Larry) King of Milton, West Virginia; numerous friends, cousins, and other family members; and a very special person in his life, IV Ford. Preceded in death by his grandparents and by his uncle, Roy W. (Terry) Cosby, of Plattsburg, Ohio. A memorial service for family and friends will be held at a later date to celebrate his life and happier times. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to The Jason Foundation, Inc., or the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention.
