COTMAN
James "Jim" Roger Cotman, 56, of Columbus and previous longtime resident of Medina, passed away Sunday, March 19, 2017. He was born in Berea, January 19, 1961, to the late Charles Roger Cotman and surviving Lois Ann (Cole) Cotman.
Jim graduated from Medina High School and attended Central Bible College before starting his 20 year career as a minister. As well as a pastor, throughout his life, Jim worked in sales, carpentry, elementary education, firefighting and owned and operated JAROCO services. He was a loving father, hobbyist and life-long learner.
Jim is survived by his children, Zachary J. (Susannah) Cotman, Jeremiah J. (Emily) Cotman, Miranda M. Cotman; as well as their mother, Pamela M. (Leonard) Cotman-Dwyer; his brother, Jeffrey S. (Teresa) Cotman; his sister, Lori A. (Craig) Rogoff.
A Memorial Service was held Tuesday, March 21, 2017 at 2120 East 5th Ave., Columbus. Private interment of ashes to follow at Spring Grove Cemetery.
