Jacob Stewart Rantz, age 36 passed away Saturday, June 6, 2015 in Columbus. He is survived by his parents Stewart W. and Jane A. Rantz; sister Sarah J. and her spouse, James Stevens; nieces and nephews Jacqueline, Hannah, John, Marissa, Justin & Charlene Stevens; many aunts, uncles & cousins. Jacob was gifted musically and will be remembered for his sense of humor, love of nature, and as an avid reader. Family will receive friends Friday June 12 from 2-4 & 6-8 pm at THE MAPLE GROVE UNITED METHODIST CHURCH, 7 W. Henderson Ave. where celebration of life service will be held Saturday 11 am with visitation beginning at 10 am. Pastor Glenn officiating. Arrangements by Shaw Davis Funeral Homes.
