"Fear not little flock; for it is your Father's good pleasure to give you the kingdom." Luke 12:32
Ivy was born into this world September 25,1953 to William and Juanita Faithful in Columbus, Ohio. Ivy was educated in the Catholic school system at St. Dominic, Holy Rosary and graduated Father Wehrle High School in 1971. Upon retiring from the workforce, she was employed with the Ohio State University Hospitals.
Ivy is survived by sisters Karen, Michaelanne, and Bydea; brother William. 12 nieces and nephews; Barbara, James, Shane, Karrem, Yusef, Murad, Iliyaas, Latifah, Kari, James, Christine and Jason; 9 great nieces and nephews; and 17 great grand nieces and nephews.
Ivy will be remembered as a loving and caring sister, aunt, great aunt and great great auntie. Her cheerfulness, giving personality knew no bounds.
Death has not claimed her legacy. There are international as well as local organizations that benefited from her donations. Ivy "adopted" children around the world with donations to charities that fed, clothes and educated them.
Rare accomplishments for one so meek, humble and mild. This world is lessened by her absence. Truly, she will rest in peace; for we know: "to be absent from the body...is to be present with the Lord." II Corinthians 5:8
