Isabella "Bella" Redfox Addington, aged 20, of Columbus, Ohio, passed away September 10, 2024. Born November 19, 2003, in Portsmouth, Scioto County, Ohio, she was the cherished daughter of James and Cheryl Addington and Demetrius Smith.
Isabella, also affectionately known as Izzy, Isa, and Allisa, was a vibrant spirit who approached life with a boundless passion for connecting with others. She viewed relationships as treasures, collecting friends and loved ones with warmth and enthusiasm. Her radiant personality left an indelible mark on everyone she met, making each person feel like a part of her extended family.
A long-time resident of Bear Lake, Michigan and a former student of Bear Lake School, Isabella's zest for life was paralleled by her joy in becoming a mother to her beloved 4 month old daughter, Imani, with whom she now shares her final journey.
Isabella is survived by her parents, James and Cheryl Addington and Demetrius Smith; siblings Kathleen Collins, Emily Owens, Robert Collins, Timothy Addington, Peter Addington, Demetrius (Dee) Smith Jr., Velma Brehm, Kristian White, Keanna Adkins, Janayah Dickey, Thomas Dickey, Daysha Porter, Josiah Smith, Kaleb Daniels, Hezekiah Daniels, Zayanna Smith, Brittany Newman, Courtney Evans, Dusten Evans, Megan Evans, Angel Newman, Jacob Evans, Mary Evans, and Abby Lane. Her life was also greatly enriched by her many cousins, nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and a circle of strong, supportive women including Nicole Lawson, Robin Cooper, Rebekah Collins, Lanasha Daniels, Amber Beaumont, Freida Helmuth, and Leibe Schrock.
She was preceded in death by her biological mother, Rebecca Newman, niece Lily Anne Owens, and nephew Brian Lee Braxton Evans.
A memorial service to celebrate Isabella and Imani's lives will be held at Shaw-Davis Funeral Home, Clintonville Chapel 4341 N. High St., Columbus, Ohio, Sunday, October 6, 2024, from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm. The Shaw-Davis Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
