Irene (Renee) Nagy

Irene (Renee) Nagy, age 78, passed peacefully at home with family present on November 11, 2024 in Columbus, Ohio. Irene graduated from St. Mary’s Columbus class ‘64. She was a member of the Immaculate Conception Parish and a member/past president of the Ladies Auxiliary AmVets, Columbus Post 89.

Irene is preceded in death by her parents John and Virginia Heigel; and brother Chris Heigel. She is survived by her husband of 56 years Joseph (Jan); son Joe (Jane) Nagy; daughter Crissy (Bryan) Wakefield; and son Brad (Lisa) Nagy; grandchildren Avery, Jacob, Alexandra, Joey, Justin, and Grace; and Sister-in-law Alice Heigel. Irene is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and extended family.

Visitation with take place on Tuesday November 19, 2024, from 2pm to 3:30pm, with the service to follow at the Shaw-Davis Funeral Home Clintonville Chapel, 4341 North High Street Columbus, Ohio 43214. Father Mike Watson to Officiate.
