Henry Beckwith

Henry Dennis Beckwith, aged 73, passed away peacefully and surrounded by family on April 17, 2024, at Doctor's West Hospital in Columbus Ohio. He was born on November 24, 1950, in Flint, Michigan, to Henry Donald "Don" Beckwith and Eva Bonieta "Bonnie" (Lambert) Beckwith. He was a long time resident of Burton, Michigan before moving to Hilliard, Ohio in 2008. He was a 1968 graduate of Bendle Senior High School. He attended Palmer College of Chiropractic earning his Doctorate of Chiropractic. He worked out of a private practice in Owosso Michigan for many years before retiring from the Chiropractic profession. He also worked for Auto City Service, Wal-Mart and Cube Smart before retiring permanently in 2019. He was an avid hunter and fisherman who loved camping and spending time outdoors with his best friends, John Bell and Al Sturm. He was a member of the NRA, American Legion Post 413 and he taught hunter's education for the DNR for many years. He is survived by daughter, Meggan (Matt) Cottrell; grandchildren, Alex Philleo, Hayden Cottrell and Galaxy Cottrell; sister Zena (Dale) Gauld; 2 nieces, and a great niece and nephew. He is preceded in death by his parents and daughter, Tricia Beckwith.
