Harry Wozniak

Harry K Wozniak was actually a magician – yes you heard correctly. 

He made magic primarily with a paint brush on canvas, as well as other mediums bringing his interpretations of what he saw to everything from family photos to still life. 

Harry made culinary magic in the kitchen, using ingredients grown in the beautiful gardens he designed.

Sharing his love of delicious food Harry authored the book 52 Pizzas.

As the life of the party Harry loved nothing more than having his beloved friends over for a dinner or a gathering. 

Harry started his journey on July 24, 1957, as the youngest child born to Lillian and Harry Wozniak in Buffalo, NY.

Married in his 20’s, Harry survived the sudden death of his wife, Julie, after only a year and a half of marriage.

When Harry was laid off from his job at Lecia he took the opportunity to continue his education and became a Dietetic Technician.

The second half of his life was spent with his devoted wife Karen, who he was married to for thirty years, and who shared his progressive views, vegetarian palate and zest for life.

His journey ended in the early morning hours of August 24, 2022 in his adopted hometown, Columbus, Ohio.

He is survived by Karen; his step-daughter Julie and her wife Ali, his brother David and wife, Tracey; his sister Diane; his nephews Paul and Michael and his nieces, Laura and Linda.

Burial will take place 11AM August 27, 2022 at Eastlawn Cemetery; 1340 Woodland Ave, Columbus, OH.
