Harriet Hamm

Harriet M. Hamm, 90, of Columbus, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, September 5, 2017. She was born in Ashtabula, Ohio on November 17, 1926. Harriet is survived by her husband William Hamm; children Michael Hamm, Terrence Hamm, and Betsy (Steve) Bass; grandchildren Matthew and Jacob Hamm, Rachel Taylor, Dylan Pierce, Rebecca Bass, and Amy (Corey) Hoffmannbeck; and great-grandchildren Mason and Connor Hamm. She is preceded in death by son David White and daughter Patricia Pallenberg.
Harriet loved her family dearly, camping, the beach, the family Canadian cabin, puttering in the yard, and playing tennis. She was a Girl Scout leader, a member of the American Legion Auxiliary, and a forty-year member of North Community Lutheran Church, where she participated in many church activities. We will miss her beyond measure and cherish her love always.
A memorial service will be held on Monday, September 11 at 12 pm at North Community Lutheran Church, 114 Morse Road. Family will receive friends an hour prior to the service.
