Gregory Hardy

Gregory O Hardy, born on December 18, 1949, passed away peacefully and surrounded by loved ones on Tuesday October 1, 2019, at the age of 69.  He is proceeded in death by his loving parents William Francis and Mary Isabel Hardy and sister Mary Ann Hardy.  He is survived by his daughter Brittany (Jesse) Armstrong and their daughters, Avery and Callan; his long-time love Audrey Gail Scholer; Brother Paul (Gloria) Hardy; Sister Joni (Mark) Wells; Brother Michael Hardy; His daughter’s loving mother Jodi Nicholls; His Nieces, Nephew and great nieces and nephew; Dear friends Patti and Harold McEowen; Jessica (Brandon) Blake, Brook and Breydon Gerst and many loving family and friends. Greg had a smile and contagious laugh that could light up any room. He was known for his quick wit, sarcasm and most of all his orneriness, which is what everyone loved most about him. He enjoyed being outside in the sunshine but most of all he loved cheering on the Notre Dame Fighting Irish every Saturday. He will be missed dearly by so many. A private service and inurnment will be held at St. Joseph’s Cemetery on Saturday October 19, 2019. In lieu of flowers please make a charitable donation to the James Cancer Hospital Solove Research Institute to support the Accute Myeloid Leukemia (AML) Research Pilot Program Fund in memory of Gregory Hardy.
