Gordon Roberts

Gordon Lee Roberts, age 82, died October 27, 2017.  Born April 17, 1935 in Indianapolis, IN.  Preceded in death by wife, Roxie Roberts.  Survived by son Kevin A. Roberts Sr.; Grandchildren Amy (Chip) Kinder, Kevin (Courtney) Roberts Jr., and Christina Roberts; Great Grandchildren: Liam Kinder, Smith Roberts, Lincoln Kinder, Hudson Roberts and Crew Roberts, plus many other loved ones and friends.  Family will receive guests Sunday, November 5, 2017, at 2:00, followed by memorial service and light refreshments at 3:00 pm at Vineyard Christian Church, 1055 McNaughten Rd, Columbus, OH 43213.

Gordon was a beloved member of Vineyard Christian Church.  He was a man of great passion whose presence commanded a room.  He loved golf since childhood and played for the varsity team in high school where he met his wife Roxie.  He served his country in the Army from 1958-1960.  During this time he had his only son, Kevin, while serving in Washington. He and his family moved back to Ohio where Gordon started the RedCo Interiors Company which was influential in the design of multiple lounges and buildings in the Columbus area.  He later sold that business to begin KAR and Associates with his son Kevin Roberts Sr., who continues to run the business today.  Gordon was loved by many, and will be remembered by all who met him.
