Gloria Mae (Hurray) Loretz of Columbus, Ohio went to be with her Lord on March 29th, 2017. Gloria was born on July 6th, 1928 in Ambridge, Pennsylvania. Gloria married Lee Loretz on September 25th, 1948 and together they attended Central Bible College in Springfield, Missouri. They founded and pastored Exeter Assembly of God in Exeter, Missouri. Following their calling to Columbus, Ohio, they founded and pastored Calvary Temple from 1954 until 2011.
She was known for her enthusiasm in teaching and ministering. Her many years of Sunday School Conventions, unique speaking methods, and being the Religious Education Director at Calvary Temple will not be soon forgotten. Her Christian example and prayer life will continue to influence many people for years to come.
Gloria was preceded in death by her husband, Rev. Lee Loretz, her parents; Richard Hurray and Thelma Priore, three sisters; Connie Hull, Lois Cooper, Dorothy Lindsay, and one grandchild; Moriah Loretz. She is survived by three children, Debbie (Phillip) Sanders of Salem, KY, Stephen (Rhonda) Loretz of Columbus, OH, Connie (Richard) Binkley of Hodgenville, KY. 14 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, three sisters; Polly Wright, Phyllis Ramirez, Rosie Schurelle, and three brothers; Dick Hurray, Vince Priore, and David Priore.
Visitation is Tuesday evening from 6 until 8 p.m. The funeral will be held Wednesday, April 5th at 10 a.m. Visitation and funeral will be held at The Potter's House Church of God; 3220 Lowell Drive, Columbus, Oh
