Glenna Evans

August 31, 1965 — June 30, 2018

Glenna Jo Evans Passed away June 30th, 2018 at Fairfield Medical Center in the care of Fairhope hospice in Lancaster, Ohio  after a long battle with cancer. Glenna was born August 31, 1965 at Riverside Hospital in Columbus, Ohio. She graduated from Gahanna Lincoln High School in 1983.

Glenna is Preceded in death by her father George F. Scarberry. She is survived by her mother Delores Maxine Scarberry of Gahanna, Ohio, her three children Heather(Chris)Borders of Reynoldsburg, Ohio, Anthony Ruhl of Lititz, Pennsylvania, and Christina Ruhl of Lancaster,Ohio, her fiancé Jeff Phelps of Lancaster Ohio and his son Trevor Phelps of Columbus, Ohio, her sister Deborah(Scott)Garver and her brother Garry(Jo Ann)Scarberry both from Reynoldsburg, Ohio. Also surviving is granddaughter Addison Borders from Reynoldsburg, Ohio whom she loved very much. She had 5 nephews Chad(Jennifer)Rotruck of Grove City, Ohio, David Rotruck of Reynoldsburg, Ohio, Sean Scarberry of Hillard, Ohio, Michael Scarberry of Reynoldsburg, Ohio and Andrew Scarberry of Reynoldsburg, Ohio all of whom she loved very much. She is also survived by many cousins and her great nephew Gage along with his children Layla and Grayson Harker all of Columbus, Ohio and Great Nieces Sammeh and Stacia Rotruck of Sioux City, Iowa and great nephews Zack, Sam and Nick Carter of Grove City, Ohio.

Glenna loved to crochet while watching her Pittsburg Steelers. She loved to go fishing any chance she had. She also had 2 dogs Bella and Storm and 2 cats Diablo and Tiger. For many years she watched WWE Monday night raw every week. She enjoyed having sleepovers with her Granddaughter Addison and playing xbox with family and friends.

We will follow up later with a private celebration of life service in September. She will be buried at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens at a later date.
