WINTON
Glada L. Drum Winton, age 93, passed into eternal life, pain free, on Saturday, November 14, 2015, at Whetstone Gardens, surrounded by family. Glada was born April 8, 1922 and graduated from Circleville High School. She always attended the Circleville Pumpkin Show and truly hated to miss this year’s event. She retired from Motorists Insurance in 1987, was a longtime member of Peace United Methodist Church and the Order of Eastern Star, Corinthian Chapter 393. She truly enjoyed keeping up with her friends from Peace UM. Glada has joined her parents Mary and Otis Drum, her brothers Curtis and Darl (Chubby) Drum, her son Mike Winton, and great grandsons Paul Price IV and Wilber Wohlstein in heaven. She is survived by daughters Nancy Price, Judy Wheaton and Pamela Winton (husband, Don Jones); grandchildren Paul Price III, Penny Wohlstein (Tim), Tina Wheaton, Eric Wheaton (Lori). She is also survived by great grandchildren Kanissa Hall (Jared), Hayley and CJ Motley, Abigail Wheaton-Lawler and Jaxson (JJ) Wohlstein and various nieces and nephews. Thanks to her caregivers at Whetstone Gardens (especially Kendra), Wesley Glen Rehab and ViaQuest Hospice for helping to ease her pain. Her funeral is entrusted to Shaw-Davis Funeral Home, Clintonville Chapel, 4341 North High Street, Columbus, Ohio, 43214 with viewing hours 6-8 pm on Friday, November 20; Funeral service at 10:30 am Saturday, November 21, 2015 with the family receiving friends beginning at 10. Pastor John Girard will officiate. Internment will follow at Greenlawn Cemetery.
