Gina Marie Freeman (1980 – 2025)

Gina Marie Freeman was a warm, smiling, and caring aunt, sister, and friend that always put the needs of others ahead of her own. Gina died unexpectedly on March 30, 2025, at Riverside Hospital due to complications from pneumonia.

Born in Martins Ferry, Ohio, she moved to Columbus, Ohio to study Culinary Arts at Columbus State Community College. She worked in many service positions across the city, ultimately landing at Speedway. Gina never lost her passion for cooking and was well known for her beautiful and outrageous make-up and nails.

Gina was preceded in death by her mom, Diane, and her dad, Bill. She is survived and will be missed by her brother, Tyrone Stewart (Gwynn Kinsel), her nephew; Tyrrell (Madaline) Stewart; her great nephew and niece, Tyger and Sunny, and many friends.

Visitation will be held on April 9th from 3-4 pm with a service to follow at 4 pm at Shaw-Davis Funeral Home, 4341 North High Street, Columbus, OH.
