Gertrude E. (Brown) Rasor, passed away April 5, 2018. Preceded in death by George D. Rasor, loving husband of 50 years, and daughter Doreen E. Allen, sister Betty Nolan. Survived by grandson, Shane C. Allen and his wife, Mendy; great-grandsons, Shane P. Allen and Erik Rose; great-granddaughter, Trinity Allen; numerous nieces and nephews. Member of East Knox Christian Fellowship, Howard, OH. Retired from the State of Ohio, Attorney General’s Office. Long-time member of Columbus Horticultural Society, City of Columbus Horticultural Sub-Commission, Gardens at Gantz Farm Volunteer, Master Gardener, Chadwick Arboretum Volunteer, Organic Gardening Club. Active Beekeeper, Trustee of Ohio State Beekeepers Association; Secretary, Kokosing Valley Beekeepers Association; member Central Ohio Bee- keepers Association. Visitation will be held Sunday, April 8, from 3-7 pm. at the SHAW-DAVIS FUNERAL HOMES, Short North Chapel, 34 W 2nd Ave, Columbus, OH 43201. Funeral service and interment was Monday, April 9, at Noon in the Chapel of Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens, 5600 E Broad St, Columbus, OH 43213. Pastor Tim Womack officiating.
