Geraldine Ann Bargdill

Geraldine “Gerry” Bargdill, 89, passed away peacefully November 16, 2024 in Naples, Florida. She was born Geraldine Mason on September 2, 1935 in Columbus, Ohio. She married Daniel Bargdill in 1954 and they enjoyed 47 happy years of marriage until his death in 2001. They had two sons, Craig Bargdill and Jeffrey (Sandra) Bargdill.

In 1973, Gerry was a founding member of the Worthington Hills Women’s Club. She participated in the creation of the Topiary Gardens in the downtown Columbus district. Gerry was an executive secretary at Lazurus Department Store (Kingsdale) for over 20 years and retired in 1999. After retirement she moved with her husband to Bonita Springs, FL. After Daniel passed, Gerry moved to Naples, FL.

She is survived by her two sons, a grandson Bailey and two great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held at Union Cemetery in Columbus, OH on Tuesday, November 26, 2024 at noon.
