Gerald J Johnson (AKA Jerry), age 62, Thursday March 23, 2017 in Columbus. US Army Veteran. Retired from Franklin County MRDD. He will be remembered as an avid hunter and fisherman. He will be missed by family and many friends but is no longer suffering and now free to soar like the free bird he was. Jerry is now reunited with his son. He was preceded in death by son Jason, parents James and Roberta Johnson and brother Joseph Johnson. Survived by daughter Christina (Roberto) Lopez; former wife Sue Johnson; grandchildren Haley & J Max Johnson, Liam & Rio Lopez; sisters Bernadette Demos, Robin Stubbs and Kimberly Smith, brothers James and Jeffrey Johnson; numerous nieces and nephews. Family will receive friends at THE SHAW DAVIS FUNERAL HOMES 4341 N High St. Wednesday 2:00 - 3:00 pm. with a memorial service following at 3:00 pm. A celebrating of life will follow at 77 East Mohawk Drive, Powell, Ohio 43065.
