George Reaves

George Sisson Reaves, 80, passed away Sunday, June 28, 2020 at Riverside Hospital. He resided in Columbus, Ohio, and was born May 21, 1940. He trusted Jesus Christ as Lord of his life, and attended Portsmouth High School and East High School in Columbus. George enrolled in the United States Army where he was stationed on the west coast from 1962-1963.

He was employed at The Goodyear Enrichment Plant in Piketon, Ohio from 1971-1977. Later in 1977, he and his family relocated to Columbus where he where he worked as a case-aide for Franklin County Children Services from 1982-1997.

Surviving are his wife of Betty Reaves of 56 years, his son Keith Reaves, daughters Kecia (Leonard McAdoo), Tina Reaves, Erica Reaves, Portia (Mark Williams), brother Leonard Reaves. Mary), and grandchildren, Leonard McAdoo, Joshua McAdoo (Shanteal), Jori Williams, Pajah Williams, Micah Williams,  Lauren Onderko, and a host nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
