George R. Ellis, age 84, passed peacefully at his home of 50 years, surrounded by family on Oct 14, 2016. Dad is reunited with the love of his life, Patricia Ellis and they will celebrate their 60th anniversary on Oct 26, 2016 in Heaven. Preceded in death by grandson Casey Gohring and wife Patricia Ellis. Survived by daughters, Pam (Skip) Basil, Penny (Steve) Gohring, Melissa (Tim) Sockman and Mendy (Mark) Siemer; grandchildren Sean (Kimmy), Brian (Tally), Larry, Nick (Sienna), Devon, Bobby, Blade, Cody, Austin, Emmy and Cole; great-grandchildren Blaine, Tyler, Sophie, Allison, Dray, Casey James and Maggie; sister Patty (Paul) Writesel. Special thanks to Hospice of Central Ohio and Divatas Dialysis and our wonderful in-home caregivers. George was a proud US Navy Veteran. Visitation will be held Weds, Oct 19, 2016 from 4-7 pm. at the SHAW-DAVIS FUNERAL HOMES, Victorian Village, 34 W 2nd Ave. Where funeral service will follow at 7:00 pm. Private family interment.
